My student's grade dropped suddenly this semester. Where do you start?

With a short assessment to distinguish a content gap from a study-habit issue. Sudden drops usually trace to one missed foundational topic that everything since has built on — we find it and repair it first.

Do you help with regular homework or just test prep?

Both. Most sessions blend current homework (so grades improve now) with foundational repair (so the improvement lasts). The mix shifts as the student gets stronger.

Can you tutor AP Calculus?

Yes — both AB and BC, through the AP exam itself. As an engineer, calculus is the math I use most, and I teach it with the intuition-first approach that makes the AP free-response questions manageable.

Do you work with middle school students?

Yes, particularly students in advanced math tracks heading toward Algebra I, where a strong foundation determines the entire high school math experience.

How often should sessions be?

Weekly is the standard for keeping pace with a class. Students recovering from a failing grade or prepping for finals often move to twice a week temporarily.

Math problems compound: a shaky foundation in algebra becomes a crisis in pre-calculus and a wall in calculus. STEM Tutor 360's math tutoring finds the actual gap — which is often two courses earlier than the current struggle — and fixes it, so improvement sticks instead of lasting one test.

Sessions align with what the student is doing in class right now: current homework, upcoming tests, and STAAR EOC or AP exam prep as they approach. For college students home in Richmond or studying locally, tutoring extends through Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Statistics.
